Great camera...
Avoid temptation to shoot wide-open (unless going for shallow DOF effects) like most 1.4's this does best between f2.0/f2.8 and F4, it's "sweet spot" where you get good contrast and sharpness and a nice shallow DOF with close-up subjects.
Tomioka optical may not have had the reputation of the Nikons, Leicas, Canons, or even the Pentaxes of the world, but they sure knew how to make a really good, fast lens in the 45-55 focal length.
Have fun with you Lynx. A personal fave, and use a lenshood - manditory - outdoors, and/or shoot with the sun behind you if you can.
