Hello all,

Well, I've finally done it. I bought myself a mint M6 Classic and an equally mint 35 Summaron 2.8. I can't wait to get more rolls of B&W through this kit. It's everything I expected it be...solid, quiet, buttery smooth rewind action and terrific available light capability. Just wanted to share the good news with this excellent community.

Cheers!

Enjoy! I've had my Classic for coming up a year now and it hasn't let me down once. Just wish I could get some more decent glass for it...never mind, maybe later!

Congratulations and enjoy! I also got a 35/2.8 Summaron for my M2 recently and I just love the sharpness and bokeh of that lens... Truly superb! Show us the pics after! ;)

The Leitz Summaron 35 mm f/ 2,8 is a very good lens. I own a goggled version, that i use on my Leica M5, actually. In respect of the first version of the Leitz Summicron 35 mm f/ 2, the Summaron is slightly weak only at the f/ 2,8. From f/ 4 to f/ 8 the difference in performance is not rilevant. I love very mutch the Summaron rendtion.
Ciao.

Thanks for input on the lens. I have to admit that I was a bit skeptical about it at first but it is quite good.
