They hold a camera swapmeet about once a month in Carson, California. I hadn't been to it in probably 5-6 years because I live no where near Carson, but my boss and I decided to get a few tables and sell a bunch of stuff so we went.

Of course during slow times I just HAD to go and take a looksie at the other tables right.. I mean.. What kind of employee would I be if I didn't go look for deals for the store to buy! ;)

So yea. All I can say is after playing with a CV 50 Heliar, Leica MP, Leica M2, etc I am very glad I only had about $60 in my pocket.... I would have been in very bad shape!!   That lens is sweeeeet!

Someday maybe. I'm still trying to figure out how to pay for the Hasselblad sitting on the table next to me right now.

I am VERY glad I didn't come across a 75mm lux. I would have had serious issues in deciding if I should sell the Hasselblad I haven't even paid for yet to fund that!!!!

I went there once a few years back, it's a great show. I may time my next visit to my relatives in Orange County so I can attend one of them next year.

The Carson Show is much nicer (bigger) than the Pasadena Show but a bit further of a drive...
I think I've been to the Carson Show three times...I used to go to it when it was in Buena Park...
Pasadena Show is tomorrow...

Sam, I've never beed to the Pasadena show. Is it usually pretty good?

RA,

If you've been to the Carson Show the Pasadena Show is a HUGE let down...
The same people with mostly the same stuff from last month...

The only item I was drooling over was a Mamiya 45mm 2.8 lens...

I was surprised by the crowd that was there...alot of folks but not to many buyers from what I was hearing...
