I paid $400 for one so clean I need a magnifier to see a few 1/8 " long cleaning marks.

It now wears an E 43 UV except in tricky lighting. It also has the proper shade.

An E43, Ronald? Not a 41mm?

Just wondering, where would be the best place to ask for a price check on these forums? (I want to see how much I would be able to get for my summicron 35 v3)

You can't estimate a lense's price based on a picture. Just get it if that's what you want. A lense that fits your eye is never a ripp off.
I have paid mine 350 euros = 460 us dollars and was in perfect condition even though he had a previous life.

I've always been very curious about this lens but heard that fogging and haze can be a problem. The pictured sample certainly looks good on the outside.

Cheers,

Can't tell if you are buying or selling? If you are buying, i would buy something else. The original 50 summarit has a reputation of being very soft wide open. If you are looking at screwmount lenses, check out a 50 summitar or a Canon 50 1.8 which is a great lens and can be bought for 150.00 US or less.
