Leica LTM An old shop in Florence

Leica M39 screw mount bodies/lenses
Is that a recent photo. I remember the shop in '99 and again in 2004, when I shot it with my L1, but I was there a couple of months ago and couldn't find it.

Nice!! Even the facade is matching with the display! A tighter frame show just the girl and the shop window will be interesting.

Cheers,

I took this photo in Florence around this May. I was in Florence for the Children's Wear Fair "Pitti Bimbo" (my wife has a small shop in Genoa). After two days wandering in the fair we took an half day to see the city, we were tired, my wife was 20 meters ahead walking, and I "please wait me...!"...I had just the time to shoot two frames with my XA....this is the best
Interesting...just in front of the main train station, there is a coffee bar...that is also an antique camera shop...
It's unbelievable...in the main window of the coffee there were two or three LTM Leicas, one Contax if I remember well and some folders...the prices were high.
Maybe next year I will take a picture of that window too, but this time with a IIIC:D

I used to live in Florence for a year and I am not particualry found of that camera shop......I used to live around the corner from there and would stop by sometimes to see what used stuff they would get.....they were always rude and very unhelpful to me.....they are located right across fron the Duomo and they always treated me like a tourist and I will never forget having to negotiate the price for a roll of film because I was too lazy to go to my usual camera store...it was ridiculous.....I speak fluent Italian so there were never any language problems, the people just sucked......yes, the Leica on the window is cool though.........

I know that places ... Carnicelli has a shop in the street besides the Duomo but I've never been there and the other guy near the main station has incredible stuff... everytime I go to Florence (I live quite near) I have a coffee there .. that window is just like a camera museum but the prices are too much high. There's another interesting shop right in front of Porcellino market (can't remember the street) near Piazza della Signoria who - usually - has many leica and voigtlander cameras and lenses, new and old, he's a kind guy but the prices are high too.
