My M5s need red dots!
I read this in the paper today.
Amateur Photographer Snapshots will make up a book published by a university press.
Kinda nice read. And, of course, Mr Kuntz used an Argus, which the identifies it as an Argus AF. Was there ever such a thing (not AF, of course...). In any case, it was a rangefinder
.
Take care!

Good news are in short supply. Let's bump this one.

Hey, thanks for sharing this Francisco. This was a good little read. I wouldn't have seen it otherwise.

Actually, if the Argus in question has a full focussing lens mount it was designated as the AF model. But no A series Argus had a rangefinder.

Then, there was an AF rangefinder? I assumed the writer got it all wrong when I read that in the article.
Must find out! <goes to Google>
You were right! And it's not a rangefinder either!
It's a pity the photos aren't in the article. He did a self-portrait that I fould really good.

We're all light!
This is a book I'd want to get hold of. I've seen things in the work of others who took lots of pictures but thought they weren't "real" photographers. Surprises lurk in all sorts of places.

The AF did not have a rangefinder, but unlike the A and the A2B, which had zone focussing, it actually focused. See the Argus group site.
