look at it this way; once you get the cam you will look like an old pro!
... I forgot to mention that the Best offer that I got from the Camera Shop is 2000 Australian Dollars i.e: around 1750 US Dollars. Just remind that the Cosmetic condition is worn out, some people might even rate it at 5 out of 10...
Thanks again to Everybody for your feedbacks !!!

Elshaneo,
I would be sceptical at buying a analog camera in 2008. In a few years they are worth 'nothing'. Unless you do your own B/W darkroom work as some here do. Even then, a well worn MP has a low value. Anything above 1,000 $ sounds a lot to me. For a mint version, possibly the double.
Myself? I bought a MP - mint - for 20,000 NOK (4,000 $) two years ago. I regret it today. From now on I will be buying only digital gear - and wide angle lenses that goes with a 1,33 crop factor for my M8.
6 month of Ramen is tough = Yeah I agree LOL ;-)
Since I'm tight on budget now, I recently got a mint condition Voigtlander M Nokton 40mm f/1.4 MC on Ebay at the price of 345 Australian Dollars including Shipping. Cheers !!!
wow...sweet mp. Congrats.
6 months of ramen ain't too bad...if you add some hot sauce in it...you can start making some tasty meals.
