Not sure what to make of this offering - it looks like a decent M2, but isn't the serial number missing?

You can buy a camera top as a spare part and it would not have a serial number. Leica or someone else can stamp in the numbers.

The shutter looks a bit strange. To me it looks like the rubber is coming off in some spots, so there might be light leaks.

I think someone got a good buy. Top replacement decks are very expensive, so if it was damaged and replaced you can bet everything else was fixed.
