Need advice in pushing a T-Max

Next saturday is going to be a dinner/party at my home, I decided to take some pics. Since now I have only two b&w films (delta 100 and t-max 400) I'm going to use the t-max and my fastest lens (jupiter-8) in my zorky 4k.
I'm thinking of pushing to 800, but should I push more, like to 1600?

TMax 400 pushes easily to 800 -- I'm not even sure that there is that big an increase in the development times. However, Kodak's T-grain films, in my experience, are very sensitive to changes in development. If the pictures are important to you, I'd run a test roll and develop it first. (You wouldn't cook a dinner entree for the first time with guests coming would you?)

Nice photos! I forgott to tell, I'm asking more because of the low light conditions in the dinner room with only light saving lamps!
I will use my hand metter and the value is always 0, I already tried to metter the light. Since the scale on the turning wheel is from 1, 0 valor with tmax at 800 is 1/250 at f:2 (acording to my math)!
(Yes I would, but I good coker [at least of cakes and deserts])!
