California (Bay Area, Northern) SF Pilgrimage: Looking In: Robert Frank's "The Americans"

Hah!! :)
Steampunk will definitely be in the house, but now I'll have to keep close tabs on it.
Hope you can make it,
Mike

Jamie,

1pm right out in front of the MOMA. Look forward to seeing you there!

Kent

Kent,
My calendar got filled up with my daughter's end-of-year school stuff on the 6th. But I'm planning to be there on the 13th. Has a meeting time/place been decided on for the 13th?
Jamie

I'm new-ish here, but I'd like to come down from Sonoma County to see the exhibit and meet some of you folks. Maybe learn something about Leicas while I'm at it.

Meeting Plans?

Meeting Plans?

Are there groups meeting on the 6th and the 13th?
What are the plans for meeting on the 6th?

There's a group meeting tomorrow. 1 pm outside the SFMOMA (cafe area). I believe the time is the same on the 13th. Look for the group of RFs and assorted other cameras milling about ;)

Kevin is right... 1pm on the 13th in front of the MOMA.

I hope those that go tomorrow have a terrific time as well!

OK, I am in on the 13th as well. No better group of folks to see this show with. Bingley and I will coordinate the Sac contingent's participation.

Senor Demas: shall we give Nikon RF cameras a representation???

Nikon rangefinders would be very welcome. I'm still torn on what to bring. Nikon SP, the trusty M8 or.... from the leper colony... a nice black Contax G2. Tough decisions we all face :)

I'm going to noodle on this critical decision before making the choice!

Dork on, Mike! My Nikon gear needs to get out more so I will bring some Nikon RF gear on the 13th. I think the S3 2000 with two lenses.

I may have a line on the trigger winder you have on Steampunk. Is that the SCNOO?

I will be in Mill Valley tomorrow morning but doubt I will could it make it to MOMA at 1 pm. Have big fun tomorrow.

Bob, Kent,
Nikon dorks will be representin' tomorrow as well, my SP in da house.

Yup, it's the SCNOO. When I bought the camera I planned on selling the SCNOO, but I ended up liking the added length at the bottom of the short III body. I think you'll dig it. Bummer you can't make it tomorrow.
