M5 accessories... case and strap... Please help

M5 is on its way, I ordered a blue classic softrelease from TomA directly and a Domke F-5XB to hold my M5 and Bessa R2A. I will also be getting a CV 21mm f/4 with finder shortly.

So this should be a great summer 😀

I cleaned out the last 4 rolls of K64 from the local mom and pop camera shop this morning after I heard the news.

I'll let you know how it fits.

Are Mom & Pop buying anymore Kodachrome? Unless there is more in a warehouse someplace, Kodachrome went faster than Polaroid Type 55.

Yeah, I'm not really complaining about it. Half the reason I wanted an M5 was because it's the little M that no one wanted.

Seems this one is for the CL, but they were also made for the M5. By Benser. Designed for the two-straplug carrying method LEica briefly promoted with the CL and the M5. If this had been for the M5, I would gladly have put a bid for you! Unfortunately, the M5 case already sold...

Haha yes my M5 arrived at my house... unfortunately I am 9 hours away in Toronto :bang: It was shipped very quickly once I was done paying... my bank transfer to eBay took longer than I expected. Thankfully Tuolumne was very understanding and patient with the sale.

So now I have to slum around Toronto with my crummy Bessa while I have a perfectly good Leica at home 😉

Got the M5... it works great! Put one roll of Ektar 100 through it.. mostly pics of my daughter. I bought a Domke Gripper strap for it, which suits it well with the 2-lug. I have the strap at the longest length and hang it over my shoulder vertical. My Bessa is on a short strap hung hoizontally on my chest and it seems pretty comfortable to carry them both that way.

My Domke F-5XB and blue TA Softie should be in the mailbox this week.

I'll drop you a line if I see a Benser case for the M5 surface again on my end, the seller had one and sold it off for somewhere around EUR 20.00 so you might be in luck sometime, I've occassionally seen 'em before for prices like that!
