Voted for the Nikons - that D3 is something special! If there was a D700 on that list, I would've voted for that.

I don't know if this counts since I think they are not in production any more but I love my Bessa R2s. Great VF and easy to hold. Uses my Nikon S3 lenses.

The Minolte Autocord. It's what Rolleiflexes could have been if the designers had kept things simple: top spool film feed and a focusing lever instead of a knob.

The 'most amazing' camera is the 5DMkII. Great still images. Great video. Uses great Canon primes, and via adapters, can use just about anything else by other manufacturers. What more could you need?

But, the "coolest" camera may be something else. Maybe the Nikon F6 if we're talking only about "currently available," as in "available new."
