6x9 and be there!
A few days ago, I posted this link to an interesting page about the March 2005 meeting of the Nikon Kenkyukai Tokyo (Tokyo Nikon Society). RFF member Cale Arthur asked about one camera pictured on a few photographs of the meeting, but nobody seemed to know what camera it was.
Since I posted this message, I have been looking for this camera, which I find particularly attractive. The brand does not appear on any photo posted on the Japanese page. Its lens seems to be quite small, so it could be a half-format (18x24mm) camera. It reminds me of a Steinheil Casca II or a Ducati.
Here are the pictures of this mysterious camera:

Does anybody know the name of this mysterious camera?
Cheers,
Abbazz

Sorry Ira, but this is all I could get from the Japanese webpage.
As it is a Japanese camera collectors group, it must be a Japanese camera. Maybe a prototype?

The first photo, top plate, looks like a Tower (?) logo.
Maybe a later style logo but not a match. See the TOWER on this camera.

I found the answer on the Nikon Kenkyukai Tokyo web page itself. It was not obvious that the comment refered to this particular camera, which appears to be a Goldeck 16, a subminiature made by Gerhard Goldammer of Frankfurt in the early 1960s.
Here is a link. It doesn't seem so scarce, as there are a few samples for sale on eBay. But I won't buy one, I am not very fond of subminiature and so-called "spy" cameras.

I have this camera and use the lens for my E-P1! The lens is a fixed focus lens 20mm f 2.8. Great for snapshots!
