Photos from my first attempt at developing film myself

I'd just like to share some photos from my first attempt at developing film myself. I have to say I'm very happy with the results, very little dust and water marks, lovely tones, and I have you guys at RFF to thank. I got a lot of help from posts made here on how to avoid dust and water marks, also on my choice of reel (Hewes), which made loading film onto a reel a breeze, and choice of developer (Xtol).

All ten taken with HP5+, the first four are from a roll rated at 400, the rest are rated at 1600.

Very nice!

Developing is fun and easy, once you tried it. Now start your way to printing some of these lovely photos, and I mean darkroom, not inkjet 😉

There's no doubt that the developing is good. I like the first and last pictures also.

Thanks guys, it was fairly straightforward, why did I put it off for two and a half years? But I think I'll hold off printing myself for now, I'll need more than just a change bag for that!
