I posted a few photos in my RFF Gallery about a day ago....shot with both G2 & G1. Some interiors and a "chrome shot". still getting used to using both the Contax bodies and the Leica's...for totally different reasons.
I like my G1, I mainly use the 90 wide open in bars to take portraits of jazz musicians. I also take a hexar af for wider shots with TMY-2. The combination really works for me. I make my own developer, and I scan my negatives on a minolta 5400.
Hey..."douwe"...your getting some really nice club shots under difficult lighting conditions and with the 90. That's saying something. The first and last shot you posted really put me in the front row, in the "first person". Jazz still has that personal touch..that music has lost. Great work...I will check out the Jazz Blog site.
Aww, damn. This picture at once makes me want a G with Zeiss glass and makes me want to try that color film stuff you rope-smoking progressive freaks are always talking about.

It's my main project for the past few months. I felt the need for more photos less gear talk, so I chose something to master. About the lighting, I love my pentax spotmeter V. Very effective piece of engineering.
Steve, wonderful shots! I like the smoothness of your B&W shots. Can I ask you what film you were using? I just got myself a G2 set and I am looking for B&W films which go well with the zeiss lenses.
