With all this buzz it must be a) real, b) a bargain and c) the thing that will finally put Leica out of business.

Could you be any more vague? I mean there's "mystery" and then there's "so mysterious that the question about the mysterious thing has to be mysterious". Which this is. If you follow me...

I have reasons to believe this new camera will be a Canon mirrorless camera, not a real rangefinder. Why would I bother with a Canon evil camera, while my E-P1 does the job wonderfully? And I very much doubt the new Canon bayonet will be able to accept C-mount lenses and other niceties like the Micro-4/3rds cameras.

Cheers!

While i love the results from my EP-1, it is a frustrating beast.

Why bother? For me, full frame, M lenses, rangefinder focusing, if that is what it is.

I have learned the hard way that it's best to NOT be an early adapter.

You buy it first, and once I am convinced it is a good instrument, then I will start saving my pennies.

I will get two of them. One for use, the other for a hood ornament. Perhaps I will have the camera name tattooed onto my forehead.

Never be the first to adopt any thing new! I too am waiting for the bottom to fall out of the M9 market. Or maybe, I'll trade in my D3 & Mamiya w/P20 and "marry-up" to a M9 and lenses. That way, police officers, security guards and park rangers will stop harassing me everytime I set up my tripod.

Maybe @!!!

Maybe @!!!

Well, a FF DRF with an M mount be it Zeiss or Voigtlander may interest me in a few years when the used ones are under 3k

or a 1.3x DRF with at least 12mp may also interest me in a few years as a used purchase also.

A Canon RF..... Would they attempt a RF resurrection?? They have been out of the RF market for Sooooo Longggggg ! Could they have some disposable money to try to get back in as a niche camera??

A 35/1.2 as a standard lens... 1.5x crop??? (Canon is 1.6x on the DSLRs)

A m4/3.. not if the 1st lens is a 35mm

Not another new mount! There are plenty now to pick from.
If it is...let's hope it can use Leica M lenses with an adapter.
Ohh Yeah.... Oly/Pany already do this..:D

I give up

Tell me P L E A S E :bang:
