Well, a FF DRF with an M mount be it Zeiss or Voigtlander may interest me in a few years when the used ones are under 3k

or a 1.3x DRF with at least 12mp may also interest me in a few years as a used purchase also.

A Canon RF..... Would they attempt a RF resurrection?? They have been out of the RF market for Sooooo Longggggg ! Could they have some disposable money to try to get back in as a niche camera??

A 35/1.2 as a standard lens... 1.5x crop??? (Canon is 1.6x on the DSLRs)

A m4/3.. not if the 1st lens is a 35mm

Not another new mount! There are plenty now to pick from.
If it is...let's hope it can use Leica M lenses with an adapter.
Ohh Yeah.... Oly/Pany already do this..:D

I give up

Tell me P L E A S E :bang:

I want to see a Canon 7sz digital, that accepts LTM and the Canon 50mm f/0.95. That's what it will take to pull me into digital.

As long as it has a real view finder.

I stopped at a Panasonic product show this morning (wife was sure you bought BART tickets there in that building). Saw all sorts of cool stuff , but made it to the cameras and finally laid eyes on a gf1. I had the urge to put the thing up to my eye it's so much like a real camera.

Then got into a conversation with a young woman who was showing a lot of interest in my Bessa and I forgot all about the Panny.

Imho there's no mistery 'cause there's no camera :)

The lack of actual camera is the mystery IMO. I'm afraid of being terribly underwhelmed when it does get revealed though. Theoretical cameras have more potential for awesomeness than physics and/or economics can handle.

I'm going to buy it, and I will not open the box. It might be a disappointment.
It's the uncertainty that gets my juices running, I'm getting ready to spend my money as we speak, I don't care what on.

:p

'Its a mystery to me'
'The game commences
will it be as good as Leica
but not so damn expensive'

A nod to Rock Band Dire Straits..'Private investigations'.....

I'm not going to buy the Mystery Camera until there are adaptors for every obscure lens mount in existence. If I can't use my Flekzamar 62mm f/.87 cine lens, that's a deal breaker.

At the recent Rutland International Photofair I was able to get my hands on a prototype. The binocular viewfinder with dioptres was a revelation but I found the lens turret somewhat bulky, particularly with the remote focussing wheel. Changing from digi to film back was easy though the 10 x 8 format has an impact on portability. The camera is of course available in black or chrome, with ball races for those who wish them, and I was delighted by the absence of a red dot. All in all most desirable.
