Emulating digital with film.

How to emulate digital with film:

Leave the film in the camera, never get it processed.

(Ok, I'll shut up!) :)

wow... I bet this is an April fool

"I have noticed there is a trend at the moment of people shooting film and desperately trying to emulate the characteristics of digital photography. ... some people just must use the oldest technology possible to appear as least bit interested in modern technology...."

Oh yea, there is a trend that we desperately trying to emulate those inferior digital sensors with our old school Ektar 100

When I shoot film (which is most of the time), I don't worry my pretty head over how it looks compared to That Other Photographic Medium.

Of course, when I do shoot with TOPM, I don't worry my pretty head about achieving a "film look", other than keeping blown highlights to a minimum, and keeping WB in check.

(Memo to self: pretty head needs shave-and-a-haircut.)
