That's how a screw mount Leica looks like if you peel away the vulcanite. I have one that looks exactly like it.
But what does this have to do with the title "stay away from Ebay"? - did you buy the camera without a photo or was it not properly advertised there?

Hope you got this for a very low price!

Lets put it this way I got the camera knowing it need to overhauled and got a 50mm F:2 summar with it and a 85mm Culminar 1:2.8 VL it came with Leica front and rear Caps I got all three for under 190.00 dollars which works out to about $64.00 each : But the question will be what will the over haul going to run since I've seen those rusted screws ? No internal rust showing when you open the bottom to put film it !
