Everyone in the forum has been so generous with advice in the past. I have another problem that I hope you can help me with. The eyepiece on my Leicaflex Standard does not stay in place unless pressed. I did not see any gasket or other trim that fell out. I love the camera dearly, and it looks and works like it just came off the assembly line. Any advice on how to fix the eyepiece in place without doing harm?
Thanks

You could ask DAG. He is good source of information for these things. Google 'DAG' and his website will come up. You can email him with a description of the problem along with a picture of the eyepiece.

I'd also second the recommendation for contact cement. I have a Leicaflex Standard that had the same issue.

The viewfinder is held in place by two long screws that can be accessed from underneath the window when you have the camera back open. In my case, both screws were still there, but the plastic of the viewfinder housing had cracked so it was able to wiggle around and was not locked firmly in place. I'd guess you have a similar problem.
