Anyway, if and when someone, anyone, decides they want to shoot or have a gear fondling event in Philly, let me know. If I'm going to be in the area at that point, I'll reply. Actually, I'll reply whether I'll be in Philly or elsewhere.

Jake from Calgary who visited is back in the area. Would anyone be interested in another photo walk like last May? We could meet up at the Irish Pub on a Saturday or Sunday. How do things look for you guys for the next two Saturdays? I'm teaching that day and am available from 1:30 PM on. Let me know.

Sorry JC! We old farts do get confused sometimes. I look forward to seeing the GF1. Don't you also have a d700? In any case, it will be good to see you again. It's still pretty much the same old group. Keep us posted.

I am fairly new to this forum and also reside in the suburban Philly area (I work in KOP). I am not familiar with Philly at all with the exception of the art museum and would be most interested in meeting up and getting to know fellow shutterbugs in the area.

Love the Ipad, but there are still some kinks Apple has to work out. As you've probably seen from my posts in the Ipad thread, I'm still learning this Apple stuff. I'm an old PC guy like you, Al. But it is an incredible tool, for what it does. I'lll bring it to the meeting. I will be unable to meet the first weekend in June [40th College Reunion], but am available for the next two weekends or the second week in June. Look forward to seeing you and catching up. Good to have you back in the area!
