Well, I'll be back eventually. I did miss the tattoo thing, but I'll be around eventually.

I've got to see that NX10 that one local was raving about...
 
Well, again I seem to be talking to myself. AND answering back. I think I need some new meds...

Anyway, if and when someone, anyone, decides they want to shoot or have a gear fondling event in Philly, let me know. If I'm going to be in the area at that point, I'll reply. Actually, I'll reply whether I'll be in Philly or elsewhere.

What a concept...
 
Hey Al, I'll be in Philly pretty much all the time for the next few months.
So whenever other people reply we can all plan something out.

I really was starting to think I was talking to myself. Hopefully, most of the Philly group just has lives...

Jake from Calgary who visited is back in the area. Would anyone be interested in another photo walk like last May? We could meet up at the Irish Pub on a Saturday or Sunday. How do things look for you guys for the next two Saturdays? I'm teaching that day and am available from 1:30 PM on. Let me know.

I'll have a better idea of what the family's plans are this weekend when we head down to NJ. I'll get back to everybody here on RFF.

Sorry JC! We old farts do get confused sometimes. I look forward to seeing the GF1. Don't you also have a d700? In any case, it will be good to see you again. It's still pretty much the same old group. Keep us posted.
 
I am fairly new to this forum and also reside in the suburban Philly area (I work in KOP). I am not familiar with Philly at all with the exception of the art museum and would be most interested in meeting up and getting to know fellow shutterbugs in the area.

Welcome! We'll be posting get-together details shortly. We usually meet at the Irish Pub in Philly on Saturday or Sunday. All are welcome at the meetings.

Love the Ipad, but there are still some kinks Apple has to work out. As you've probably seen from my posts in the Ipad thread, I'm still learning this Apple stuff. I'm an old PC guy like you, Al. But it is an incredible tool, for what it does. I'lll bring it to the meeting. I will be unable to meet the first weekend in June [40th College Reunion], but am available for the next two weekends or the second week in June. Look forward to seeing you and catching up. Good to have you back in the area!

Hey everyone, Sundays are the best days for me, as I currently work every Saturday.

I'll check in to see if a date gets picked.

You are both welcome to attend any of our get-togethers. We generally meet at the Irish Pub at 12th and Walnut on either Saturday or Sunday, although it looks like the next meeting will be on a Sunday.
