Yes, very nice!!
Here are all the options right on the RRS site:

I bought the small square B9 (E) plate for $49 and it works well.

Not sure I'll invest the extra for the new plate, though the L-bracket is nice not just for protecting the side of the camera, but as a grip, and also to rest on a flat surface.
Here's a shot of the setup being used by someone I had met who was a fan of Leica's, so let him shoot the M9 for a while (took this with Lumix LX3 backup traveler). The B9 is in a B2-40-LR clamp (lever release with no spirit level - there's one in the shoe of the ThumbsUp), which is on the RRS BH-25 Ultra-Light ballhead, attached to a Gitzo Traveler (GT1541T).
BTW - you'll note the paint difference in the "M" and "9" - when I peeled back the tape covering the M9, the white paint in the M stuck to the tape. Now if the same would only happen with the "9"...
I think this was shot with the above setup (would have like a bit more sky / less water):
...and this with the 50mm Lux (note the little hair in upper right of frame - cleaned sensor twice on the trip!):
