Is this a dream finish? (I could have this one for a really good price.)

Me I'd order a Silver chrome one with the green leather and my kids names and date of birth engraved on it.

I think those are the same specs as mine, awesome camera, you won't need another one.

BTW, it takes good pictures too 😉

Seems most MP's sell for 2200-2500 USD regardless of finish, leather, etc. If it is in great cosmetic condition, I'd say go for it.

black paint MP black vulcanite, absolutely no engraving anywhere.

For me, a chrome MP 0.85X viewfinder with separate 50/90 framelines, all of the classic Leica engraving with the vulcanite-like covering. Classic rewind knob too. In other words, as close to an M3 as possible.

If I got an MP a la carte, I'd get one like that, but with brown or black leather.

Get the .58 magnification (unless you shot long lenses). For 50mm or wider, the .58 is tight.
