GASitis.. finally cured?
Hi guys
I believe a few of us here have gone on the worldwide photowalk held on July 24th. I just started this thread to share some of my shots.
I went with a digital/film combination, shooting with the M8+CV 35/1.2 Nokton, and the Hasselblad with 2 back loaded with Ektar 100. To start, here are some shots with the M8. I disciplined myself, and shot in true "film" style with preview switched off.
. total images on the M8 = 60, Hassy = 24. I enjoyed the walk greatly, and the Hassy generated a lot of talk.
Place: Malleshwaram, Bangalore
all shots wide open or f/1.8.

The rolls from the Hassy are being processed.

A little help please, how do you post photos? I tried the insert button above to my flickr account in another thread yesterday, but nothing comes up? Is there a size restriction? Something I missed? I tried searching the thread and couldn't find how tos either.
Newbie here,
Thanks,

slightly off topic, - - I participated in the photwalk last year (2009) and my photo was voted by our "NJ-Edison" group, best in the group, and used to represent our group. (supposed to get a copy of his latest photoshop book) fast forward 12 months - still no book.
but I did have a nice out day shooting.
I did not pay attention to this year's schedule, and missed it.
Best of luck to this years participants.

GASitis.. finally cured?
Start of with this from the Hasselblad. The carpet sellers are from Rajasthan, and they travel all the way South to sell their wares.

Two of mine are below. Sorry, they are scanned with the Linux version of software for my Epson 4870, and I don't know how to use GIMP yet in order to do even the most basic of post processing.
Anyway, the film was Adox 100 ISO, cut down to 9x12, and processed in Rodinal 1:100 stand for 60 minutes. I don't think I like the results as much as I expected. I'm not sure I will try stand again until I have had a chance to develop in Rodinal normally, and maybe in pyro and even D-76.
With Francisco's presumed agreement, everyone else feel free to post, and I hope with better examples.
The first is of an old building across the street from the start of the walk.

The next is of the Hyperion, which looks sort of 30s like, except for the modern dress and cars.

I am curious if this is normal for this type of film and stand development, especially the building/sky separation in the second?
Also, sorry, I can't seem to get these to link in, so the URLs.
