I've just uploaded my first attempt at a 'BLURB' book!
http://www.blurb.com/bookstore/detail/1522113
I've checked it through on several days before uploading and getting it 'published'. Bit of a hassle in places due to inexperience on my part but it eventually 'got there'. And I know you will believe this, I've now found a mistake:bang::bang::bang::bang:.
Overall I think it was a project worth doing. I certainly collected together photos for a purpose, and I now find I'm going off taking photos with something in mind rather than just random snapping away.
So I find myself thinking - 'why am I taking this photo?'; 'what am I going to do with it when I have it'.
Do you have the same questions?

Looking good Jessie!
I've just finished my third. www.blurb.com/my/book/detail/1520903
I find them both frustrating and rewarding, but it is very nice to have a finished product to share with others, and as you say, it is nice to have an end product in mind.
I tend to produce a book recording any travels I embark on, but I did produce one as a present to celebrate a friend's birthday which worked well.
So far I've produced books with my images from Spain and Iceland. I still have a Morocco book to get finished and I'm off to Thailand in a bit. Consequently my holidays are turning into photography assignments - but that's the way I like it.
Bob.

Thanks Bob - good to know someone has had a look!
I'm now wondering what to do next!
As if there wasn't always something to do!
