Apart from the lacking UV/IR filter and bad processing, the Nokton did a good job here making the picture an unpleasant experience to look at. At least do I think so.
 
Wow -- I am experiencing the uncomfortable realization that As much as I like good bokeh, maybe I like bad bokeh too. That Sigma shot looks like the background is not part of the same image. Which is pretty cool.

But is this typical of Japanese lens bokeh, also like the 58mm f1.2 Noct Nikkor, with the "dark outline circles of OOF"?
