See the photo from "peterm1" with the Buddha. I love the image, but not so sure of the bokeh. It is nice in this photo, with the Nikon 58mm f1.2 Noct-Nikkor.

OK Bokeh...
If I want good bokeh I go to the pub and have a few beers. The Bokeh turns bad the morning after but returns after a hair of the dog.

I shot this to test out a Takumar 300mm f4 lens on a Panasonic L1 4/3 camera. While its moderately sharp its bokeh is very harsh indeed.
You can see how it compares to the Nikkor 300mm of the same vintage which is both sharper and has more acceptable bokeh
