Hi, I have been using a Yashica Electro 35 for a while, and I'm absolutely hooked on rangefinders. I'm planning to buy a R3A or a R4A after photokina in case they release something nice there. What I was going to ask though is how it's possible to focus a 53mm lens on a view camera. Won't the focus be slightly off? I was planning on buying an industar 53mm f2.8 lens just because it's so cheap on ebay. Also, what would be the best Voigtlander for me? I am planning on getting a nice allround kit with voigtlander lenses. A 28mm, (maybe a 35mm), a 50mm and a tele lens of some sort for the occasional concert photography.

The I-61L/D has excellent optics, but you might need to do some adjustments for best focus on the Bessa. See the above thread on shimming the lens if the focus isoff.

The R3 doesn't have framelines for anything wider than 40mm which rules out 28 and 35mm lenses. The R4 doesn't have framelines for anything longer than 50mm which rules out your concert lens.
Have you thought about the R2? It covers 35 to 90 FL's. You might be able to squeeze the view of a 28 on it - i don't know as I haven't got that body - but you could get an external viewfinder for 28 if necessary. Alternatively get the R4 and an external VF for the longer lens. Just be aware that the frame for the 50mm lens is quite small on the R4.

I use the full field of the R2 viewfinder for my VC 25mm lens. It likely does not cover the lens fully, but in practice it is good enough for me. So it should be fine with a 28, although you may need to move your head slightly to the left and then to the right if you wear glasses. And yes, I wear glasses.

I'm going for a R2 then, the R3 viewfinder seems wonderful but I will be using the shorter focal lenghts way more than the 90mm, so I might just buy an external finder that. The magnification of the R4 is a bit too small for me and the need for an external viewfinder for the 90mm is slightly off-putting. I don't use glasses, so I might have an easier time than Tin using the R2, even though I probably won't be using that wide lenses anyway.
Thanks a lot for the help everyone, I really appreciate your great answers!
