Heck no Rob, she sheds too much! plus she can't hardly keep still.😀 I made the mistake of letting one of my cats lay on top of my bag one time & it was covered in hair...thank goodness for scotch tape!🙂
My fellow RFFers, I found this thread by accident and because of the fact that I know this petronius a little bit, be sure he stole the idea of looking down to see mundane objects and interesting patterns from those great photographers like Ernst Haas, Andre Kertesz, Alexander Rodchenko and many nameless shooters in German photo magazines of the 80s! And it was a eyeopener when he saw the use of light in Hopper´s paintings and in the early photographs of Ralph Gibson.
He once read a quote by Ruth Bernhard, who said that the one who can see is surrounded by myriads of photos. This brought him the freedom to see everything as a photographic subject.
The really difficult part in this game is the editing. To get all the lines and textures in the frame in the RIGHT way means to throw away most of the shots.
Seriously: I´m speechless about so many kind words about my photos. (The pressure to bring more good photography increases though)
If nothing else shows up, the photographer shoots himself:
