35 1.2 on a M2

Does anyone have a pic of how much the 1.2 protrudes into the viewfinder on an M2?

No pic, but I just looked through mine and will guesstimate that it blocks about two thirds of the lower right quadrant. That's wearing its hood.

I don't think it will block any less of the finder of any other Leica, though. Sooner or later, when lenses block too much of the finder, it is time to use an accessory finder in the shoe. Resistance is futile.

for me is about 20-30% on my M2, no issue for me

get borrow from fren to try out before decide, i'm happy with it and sometimes i pair it with my NEX 3, result is superb !

It will block around 2/3 of the lower right quadrant in your viewfinder.

I bought it.
I shot 3-4 rolls with it.
And I sold it!!

Image Quality is great. But I cannot bear the size and weight of this gorgeous.

Size and weight are not really an issue the VF intrusion might be, and I dont live anywhere near a city to try one out unfortunatly. I might just have to buy and hope.

Had this lens for a short while but sold it away due to its size. If I remember correctly, removing the hood reduces the VF blockage to about 1/2 the lower quadrant.
