I spent a weekend in Novi Sad, in Serbia, on the Balcan.
Such a impressive city, very fine, clean, quite calm and beautiful.

I played a little association game with shooting same places and similar situations, combining them into diptych.

Hope you like them, I will appreciate any critiques.

All photos are taken mostly with Minolta 7sII with Portra 160vc expired 2005; B&W photos with Canon s5is.
I did a very quick contrast/sharpness correction.

I especially liked the one with the old man sitting on a bench next to the tree with pigeons in the foreground.

If there are some shooters from Serbia, or from Novi Sad to be more specific, I would like to see maybe some photos for comparison :)
 
Very nice. I like the last shot of the child in front of the city map. Quite humorous! How do I find my way home?
