What do I need?

I need some help/opinions on what to get. I use an M3, shoot b&w only. Landscapes, people. What I would like is to be able to see my negatives and be able to process (outsource) acceptable quality shots no larger than 8x10. Do not plan uploading to the web, just would like to view my negatives and pick-out the acceptable ones. Do not plan to PP at all. Even then I'll show them to the family to get their opinions.
I probably do not have any "acceptable" shots to process but I'm working on it. I use 100 neopan.

my suggestion: get a Minolta Scan Dual type II, III or IV. You can use the Minolta software on both Mac and Windows XP, not sure about Vista or Win7 though (anyone?)

Purchase VueScan if you don't like the Minolta software, the Pro edition is lifetime licensed and gets updated 5, 6 times a year, to continue supporting virtually all scanners and software platforms.

There's also older Canon and Nikon scanners that can help you out for little money but I don't know types.

No need to invest in a dustbusting hard&software feature like Digital ICE, does not do any good on B&W scans anyway.

Still, I'd like to see scans here, too!

From my limited experience in the USA...
Any Epson or Canon scanner that has film capability will do what you want. I use Epson as do several of my friends. We use Epson for 35mm, 120 & 4x5. I use the EpsonScan software straight from the box. Any of the Epson film models since the 4990 will work fine. The 4990, V700 & V750 will handle film up to 4x5.
If you get proficient with scanning, making your own inkjet prints is a treat.
