Hey dudes
A quick one; I am looking to put my hands on Contax T2, but before I buy it I want to be sure that I can disable the flash in auto mode. I simply wouldn't like the camera to use it without my will. Somehow I cannot confirm if this is possible just by reading the manual - am I understanding correctly that flash is _always_ off unless I turn the aperture ring to flash icon setting? That would be very good...
Please confirm if you can, thanks!
Cheers, Wojtek

You need to set a T2 to flash to make it flash.

The T2 flash can be forced off. The aperture ring aslo has the auto setting. There are at least two auto settings from memory. By setting the camera on f2.8 that becomes auto. (Strange I know but thats how it works) But if you want the flash to fire there is a separate flash setting on the ring.
