First roll with G2...

Hey, I'm quite new G2 user, just developed first roll. It is Ilford XP2.

I hope you'll like G2. It's hard not to. As ardent Nikon user I discovered the quality of Carl Zeiss glass when, as a duper I worked on the images taken with G2 by Mike Gauthier, a rescue ranger from Mt. Rainier http://www.crevasse.com/
Because of the lightness of the G2 he was able to carry it on his patrols.
In 2007 I was fortunate enough to bring my G2 (and G!, as well) on a 3 weeks trip to Poland and Slovakia, so I'm familiar with the scenes like your image #3. Please, check http://contaxg.com/document.php?id=30965
Anyway, I could never fall in love with Nikon, but Contax is something else.

I'm in love with G2, it is brilliant. I want to show this amazing Zeiss 3D effect, when during watching photos you feel like being there. Unfortunately I have to work over focusing. I didn't use AFlock button, and 30% shots are missed.

There is a website that explains in detail some techniques of focusing with G2. I seldom get out-of-focus shot with my G2s. I posted a tread asking for the link to it, so check the replies.

Nice pictures, I specially like N°4: the geometry look of the floor, the rectangular mirror and the lamps add something to the nice atmosphere given by the friends gathering.
