Just thought I'd breath some life back into this thread. I saw this scene outside my office going to work one morning. There was an incredible mist hanging over this small stream that runs right next to it, and the sun kept poking in and out of the clouds illuminating the whole scene.

Just as much as pastels are the thinking man's paint solvent. 😉

As with bokeh it adds drama to an otherwise boring photo

Paint solvent adds just as much drama. Of course, it depends on how you use it. 😀
