that lightweight little e35/2.5 is a peach for the money.

Ok I measured it. An EM with a CV 40mm pancake is the smallest if a lens hood is included. But I'd go with the FM2 (or of course my trusty FM3a)

Even shorter than the 45mm AI-P and hood ? The 40mm pancake itself is 7mm longer than the 45mm AI-P.
