OK, so I have decided to give away for free my Konica Auto S3. The cameras was apart from the non working aperture read out in fully working order (and mint cosmetic order) - until I decided to repair the stuck aperture indicator in the viewfinder. This got stuck after the camera felt hard on stone floor (fortunately covered with a thin carpet) in Spain.
But my DIY repair attempt failed and introduced another problem - jammed film advance, and, one little part fell out (not broken - seem just unglued). As I am not an experienced technician nor do I posses the repair manual - I decided to end this relationship and set the Konica free.
So - the camera is available for FREE (you get to pay the shipping though - I am located in Germany) to anybody who has either the ability to repair it or can have it repaired for reasonable money. I would love to hear that this camera made it back to life.
If you have questions then please ask them HERE
PM me only with your interest. Please do share why is this camera interesting to you. I would prefer to give this camera to a student or somebody who may not be able to get a working one, but keep in mind that this camera NEEDS A REPAIR.
The detailed information of the camera's state can be found HERE
I will happily answer your questions - just ask them in this thread.
