New York April Meet-Up

Ugh, rain all day...

Ugh, rain all day...

based on the weather (i.e. it's raining right now and the hourly forecast says 100% chance of precip from now til late afternoon ), I think I'll bail. I have a friend leading a meetup group at the Met, so I'll do that, and maybe try shooting Polaroid impossible project film for a challenge.

See you all on may 1.

Been off-line.

Jeff and I senjoyed burgers and struggled with the weather. Not the best light. Oh-well.

See everyone May 1st at Puck Fair at 1:00 PM.

Thanks Cal for showing me around Long Island City the other day.
The foul weather provided a "surrealistic" landscape in which to shoot.

Love that "Bridge to Nowhere".

I consider that part of LIC the "Bowels of New York." Ironically a third of New Yorks sewage is processed there, and NYC started dumping raw sewage there as early as 1853. LOL.

In my past I lived in Greenpoint on the other side of Newtown Creek in northern Brooklyn.

That section inbetween Brooklyn and Queens is one place in New York where there is no neighborhood and it really big. LOL.
