Desirable Rangefinder's

I am a little surprised a Canon Rangefinder didn't show up sooner. I would add the L-1 as even nicer to use than the P (in my opinion), and the 7s for its viewfinder and fast lens option. Since I am praising viewfinders, I would include the original Bessa R due to a great finder and the ability to accept both screw and bayonet mount lenses.
 
I'd like to suggest that scale focus cameras also be included in any 'most desirable' list. I'm thinking of cameras like the excellent little Rollei 35 SE, and the Minox GT. Quality optics, fast, and pocketable!

+1 though I would prefer them the other way round. I would live one of the modern fuji 67 folders though either of these would require a new enlarger. Also there is also the Polaroid based 45 cameras like the Razzledog with a graphmatic (?) back that would be a superb street cam.
 
All rangefinders are desirable. Unfortunately, not all rangefinders are affordable (by me).

OTOH, perhaps that is fortunate: if I bought all of them, where would I keep them?

Hexar RF, of course. And one of their more automated cousins Contax G is also on my wish list, as well as the Bronica RF 645.
But the next buy will be one of the many Fuji 645 RF cameras, just to start in MF.
 
35mm:
- Voigtlaender Vitessa (have it with Ultron)

MF:
- Any of the Ensign AutoRange (16-20, 12-20 or 8-20 CRFs)
- Voigtlaender Bessa (have it with Heliar)
- Balda Super Pontura (have it with Xenar)
- Mamiya 7II (have)
- Plaubel Makina IIIR (have)

LF:
- Linhof Super Technica V (have, although I would have equally settled for a IV)

I wouldn't mind adding a 1930's Voigtländer Prominent (which I don't have) to the MF category.

YES, I feel your pain. I guess you could start a camera museum. Something like Jay Leno's Garage

This has been educational, as I research the cameras listed I find others I've never heard of.
 
There are some rangefinders that are desirable for me. These are all budget cameras.

- Yashica Lynx 14 due to its lens
- Yashica Lynx 5000 due to its 1/1000th ss
- I'd also like one of Olympus's halfframe rangefinders - just for fun

- Bessa r3m - inexpensive rangefinder that looks awesome and fits m mount lense
- Canon 7s - same reasons as above
 
The under-rated Zeiss Mess Ikonta; enormous bang for your buck.

Another unappreciated RF is the Chinese Seagull 645, although quality control was on a par with Soviet equipment. I had a good one, many years ago, and being an idiot, let it go.
