Thanks a lot texchappy......I have been using a 35mm 1.2 nokton a lot lately with Kodak pro image 100......no pp or anything, just straight scans from my local lab
I went to a very interesting festival the other day, I had a great time.....

I love the shots, but they seem really grainy or overly sharpened while being scanned. How are the negs? I've started to use Kodak pro 100 and it seems smoother than these.

I re-found some love for the amazing Voigtländer 35/1.2 - a truly remarkable lens!
i really have no idea, how many different 35mm lenses I really have, but I collected a like new copy of the v1 35/1.2 during my maniac search for the perfect 35mm and never really used it.
It now got some first time on the M9 and blows me away, as it is really very close to what the perfect 35mm would be like!

Thanks Helen and Mr F. I'm really pleased with the feel as well. Delta 400 is my 'go to' at the moment for 35mm action. In this series I think each of the guys shows their own character in their form and function.

Yeah, 400 iso 35mm always seems to scan 'grainy' on my Minolta Scan Multi-Pro (using Vuescan). The 100 iso aren't much better. They print finer though. 6x7's scan much better. It would be interesting to see how colour film scans at 400 iso.

Thanks for the compliment......the negatives look great and the prints that I have look good, but I had those prints made in Bangkok......so, I am going to get some large prints made from a top quality lab in the U.S. in the next couple of weeks and see the results.......
