Yes, it was selling shortly and now on it's way to Australia for a very lucky individual! 😀

Awesome monoblock as well, i've used the Hologon on an M9, it was stupidly sharp in the corners, but obviously with large lomographic color shifts..... still, for B&W it was VERY IMPRESSIVE. :angel:
 
Thanks Robin and Dave - I am excited, going to make my first prints from the Hologon this week ;-) I am not an expert at all with wide-angle lenses, so I can't speak for the sharpness (not a big thing to me otherwise), but there is one thing, that stuns me about the Hologon - no distortion, like in no freakin' distortion at all, none, nada - just straight !!!

Leica Universal Wide-Angle Finder, often referred to as "Frankenfinder", as many more aesthetically than functionality minded people do not like it's hefty looks.

It is actually a masterpiece of a multi format finder (the best there is in my opinion). One can think of it as having a similar quality and construction as the integrated Leica M viewfinder, but adding more brightness and going from 16-28mm with full parallax adjustment from 0.5m to ∞ and even at 16mm a lot space around the frame to judge a scene.
This is not a masking multi format finder like most less costly variants (and more costly, see Linhof), but a true bright line finder in the same principle as the Leica M viewfinder (see that large frosted window, providing the light for the bright line masks).

To top it off, it is made like a tank with a die casting alloy housing, solid foot with twist lock and fully exchangeable eye piece accessories.

It's weakest points are the plastic knobs to change focal length and adjust parallax, which are easily knocked into another setting, when pulling this in and out of a bag - that's the only criticism.

It might look large, it is not heavy though, but it offers a beautiful super wide angle view with plenty of eye point.
