No, the Deperdussin is c1910, and the camera is 1911. Seems funny using something over a century old on an aeroplane that's even older. 😎
It's hard to resist taking an old camera to Old Warden - I often have a good camera spot there, prize this year was getting to fondle a Leica IIIf... I begin to realise why people get so far up themselves about Leicas now, there is good reason.

I liked the "roo" bar made from an old bed-head bord.
 
Super Ikonta C (531/2), Ilford Pan F+ 50, Rodinal. Usually i have a Hell of a time trying to shoot vertially with this camera; it is quite unwieldy in that orientation and I often get only within +/- 5 degrees of straight vertical. This shot was convenient since I was shooting from lower ground, so convergence helped obscure my shortcomings, as did the fact that probably no angles are 90 degrees anymore on this old building.

Hi Dave,

I experience the same problems with my Super Ikonas and Moskwa 5 when using them vertically. My strongest concern is how to hold the camera steady at long shutter speeds like 1/50 or even 1/25 s.
What is your technique?
