After a struggle to find the mysterious light leaks,I now have the perfect medium format carry around camera,the" ISKRA 1". The lens on this old folder can hold it's own with most of what I have. Peter

Hi Andre!
I got the moscow 5 with totally misaligned vertical and horizontal
viewfinder.took me half day to correct it🙂 Luckily the bellows are ok🙂I'll bring the camera with me along with the rollei you gave me.i am set to go back to sea this june.Cheers!
 
quicksilvermike - The Moskva and Neopan is a great combination. Oh, I guess the photographer had something to do with it too. 😛

Nice shot. The Novar can be really good sometimes. But it's not a Carl Zeiss lens. Zeiss Ikon owned the Novar tradename, but they bought the lenses from makers like Steinheil, Hensoldt, OAS and Rodenstock. Probably because it was cheaper than the Carl Zeiss Triotar.

Thanks JPD. I knew the Novar wasn't a original C. Zeiss lens, but was I unaware of so many alternative makers (four a single lens type). I do remember, however, reading about outsourcing because of in-home productivity limitations.
