On another front, that Edit button does not appear when one creates a post, so there is in fact no way to edit posts, time limit or no.

Is there really any dramatic improvement with the new RFF? I don’t think so. I still haven’t found a way to change the font size and lack of a drag-and-drop photo post system has prevented me from showing my work for years. Sorry, but there we are. TW

I posted earlier and immediately wanted to edit it as I made a mistake - - I saw NO edit button. Just after this post it appeared - so is it present only for a short time? If so I prefer the older system. TIA

Hi,
Why limited to One hour window to edit? (now i can not edit my 'our street your Street' post)
it's been Unlimited time for the last 10 years!

Just sent a complaint re having separate sign in to gallery which I am having to password reset every time and have basically given up. I agree with all the complaints having to do with why did we have to change the site, especially if it was to simply frustrate users. A new, fresh look would have been good but a bizarre methodology to operate the site certainly wasn’t needed. I haven’t been active for many weeks and since my reset password request on the gallery still hasn’t arrived in my inbox, it appears I will simply have to give up and post elsewhere.

Edit: Will check back in an hour to see if the button is still there, though why there is a limit is beyond my comprehension.
PF
Edit: Okay, button is still there, and I notice some of my other posts from yesterday still have active Edit buttons, so apparently the time limit has also been eliminated. If so, thanks a whole bunch, JT!

how in the world do I see the threads I follow? there used to be a button where I could see new posts to just my followed threads. I think it said "CP" something.

Go to your profile. The main content on the profile page is a summary. Click on subcscriptions under your name in the profile page and you cab see all threads you follow.

How can I find my old threads at RFF? We used to be able to look up up our posts and/or our threads. Thanks.

Was thinking of listing something in "Classifieds" but logging in is impossible. I am using my same login to get into RFF, but it will not work.
How are we supposed to list anything when this portion does not work?
What's the solution?

Ok. So I am going to have to create another announcement and make it a sticky.
To log into the gallery/classifeds you use your rff username but must request a password reset using this link ...
https://www.rangefinderforum.com/services/reset-password
Just enter the email address you use with rff .
the classifieds/gallery has a different account system than the forum. The usernames were prepopulated in the gallery/classifieds but a different password will be needed.
This is only a temporary thing as I am working on a single sign on solution.

Am still having difficulty accessing gallery and classified section. The email address I registered with no longer exists. Was able to change it to the correct address on the main site, but this is rejected by the gallery when I try to reset via your link Jorge.
I understand there needs to be some manual intervention in these cases. Thanks for any assistance, am starting to get a feel of the new system and look forward to being more active.
Your efforts are much appreciated.
Cheers, Glenn

Go to your profile. On the right above the message panes is a filter button ... you can use that to show "all time" and then scroll back through all the posts you've ever made.

Would it be possible to add a favicon to the site? Currently it seems to randomly pick from currently open or last open items (most of my tabs for this site are currently showing the gmail logo, a handful are showing the reddit logo).
A consistent favicon would be a nice touch.
