You can now post wanted and trade ads.
If you update your profile on the forum with your location, the location will show in the ad.

Can you post more than 5 images in your ad, like on the old forum? And can you respond to people posting comments on your ad?

Any way to get our scores back from the old site, our selling scores and comments folks made about buying items from us?

Good evening MP Guy. Well, I've tried to place a classified ad twice now this evening, and both times, after I have filled in all the info, typed my whole ad, added my ten photos, and pressed the Post Ad button, the site crashed and gave me the space monster page with Error 404.

Kind of a bummer as I've been working on this ad all day on my end. Hope you get this fixed soon, or can tell me the way to actually place an ad on this site.
Best,
-Tim
PS: Finally got it to work. Had to upload only one photo at a time, then edit and add another photo, then edit and add another photo, repeat seven more times, or it would crash.
What happened to the Items for under $100 at a cost of $3.00 (cost was $1.00 for the past year) ?

Again I ask that this somehow be added. I personally always took a lot of comfort from the comments and ratings and most of my gear was purchased through RFF. I also had a long history with 100% positive. I intend to sell some of my pristine gear soon and that would help me immensely. Thank you.
Good Morning MP Guy. Thanks for your help trying to sort the new classifieds out. I'm feeling like a beta tester.
Here's an issue I ran into this morning. As per what is written when you post an ad, you are allowed ten images, not to exceed a certain MB limit, and you can take an image down and put another one up in its place. That's not really working. I tried to exchange an image on my ad, and when I went to remove one image, by clicking the ghosted garbage can (X) in the lower right corner of the image, nothing happened. I clicked it a number of times and still nothing happened. So I closed out my browser and opened back up again and the image was gone. Seems all good. Then I tried uploading the replacement image (310K in size, the same size as the image removed) and I'm getting the blue segmented pulsing bar of death, and nothing uploads. I let it pulse for 20 minutes, and still nothing uploaded. So we can sort of remove images from our ads, but can't replace them with another image. At least that is my experience this morning.
Thanks MP Guy.
Best,
-Tim
PS: I was able to eliminate two more images by not clicking "Edit Ad" but by just clicking the red "X" on each image. But when I tried to go in and edit the content of the ad (to note that one of the four cameras listed has already sold), I also got the blue segmented pulsing bar of death, and the ad did not change.
Again I ask that this somehow be added. I personally always took a lot of comfort from the comments and ratings and most of my gear was purchased through RFF. I also had a long history with 100% positive. I intend to sell some of my pristine gear soon and that would help me immensely. Thank you.
Not every buyer pays attention to Classified feedback. Most sellers have Ebay feedback they can refer buyers to. But if its that important to you, someone has to pay for the tech labor. Considering the new classifieds were written from ground up, its a wonder we have classifieds at all this quickly after the transfer to the new site.
Individual feedback can be transferred (but not exactly) for $50 to $100 per member depending upon how much feedback there is to transfer.
Full payment goes to the tech, ie George.
