Trailing Edge (not Leading Edge) Cameras -- where's today's "sweet spot"

Here is no high ISO compatible croppers to FF like 6D series.

And why limit yourself with only static objects and dunky AF in the low light which doesn't work well even with 2.8 zooms, while where is loads of EF lenses with stabilization.

X-H1 was ditched by Fuji in record short period and is ditched now by users for reasons.

Well, I disagree. I've used it and it does compare. You can go here and choose the 2 cameras - https://www.dpreview.com/reviews/fujifilm-x-h1/8

As far as AF, it works well. I used mine at night with the 56mm 1.2. Yes, I've used the camera. It was too expensive when released, that it true. It's a great deal now.

Not sure what happened with the X-H1, I got mine new in the box when the price dropped two years ago, it's still the best bang for the buck even now. It also has the most amazing build quality and quiet shutter...

Also picked up a Nikon D810 last month at an estate sale for $600. Looked new, turns out it was...it had a shutter count of 9.

Seek, and ye shall find...bargains!

I was with you until 5 or 6mp. Where would they even get those these days? I would imagine it would be cheaper for them to implement a modern 20mp 1" sensor since those are actually available. It needs an LCD as well... or tiny EVF. As far as popularity, I think you overestimate the amount of people who would rather use this than a phone. I'd like one though...

The reason I held it down to 5 or 6MP is that if you crowd too much pixel density into a small sensor, the high-ISO performance suffers from excessive noise. The sensor that would fit into a Minox would be very small, probably the same size as the film gate, so I think the camera would be most versatile with a modest pixel count. After all, a spy camera ought to perform well in low light! As far as requiring an LCD screen, that would be nice, but not absolutely essential if it makes the difference between the camera being possible or not. After all, even Leica made a camera with no LCD, because people requested it!

So, you also ditched it after short use.
And so-so AF is exactly what I knew from other users. f1.4 primes are needed to be able to focus it in the dark areas. AF is not working with zooms.
Of, course I knew where DPR tests are. But I don't wear Fuji fan boy blinds :).

Funny you would say that, you added that one. What seems to be the matter?
I meant trying to edit my post was difficult on my ipad. The original appears on the top and then edit is a narrow, one line field that doesn’t scroll. I dunno, maybe just my ipad not showing something. Always having problems with technology, nothing new for me.
The ‘old’ RF forum had an editing feature where you could go anywhere within your original post and correct spelling errors etc. Don’t seem to be the case now.

It still exists and works. I read and edit my posts on an iPhone SE2 using the default browser. Maybe something with your iPad and browser combination?

The real solution P’al_K is for me to engage my brain (or what is left of it) before I post and not after.
Then you see, I would need to edit much less.

Always such a charmer. You have no idea what I have or do not have. No doubt the 6D is a great deal, but so is the X-H1. I am not sure why you feel the need to always call people fanboys. I simply use the cameras I like and will talk about the ones I have actually used more than ones I have not. What you are saying about the AF is simple not true. As far as 12800, both do not look that great to me.
