Mike thank you for sharing your wonderful images, love the gulls, they remind me of black headed gulls , as found in Europe, they loose their black head plumage and have just a black dot on the side of the head, in late spring they 're-develop' the black head. Next week I receive an example of the 23/2 wr, I will let you know how I get on with it!

Lxmike, thank you for the kind words. Your enthusiasm is contagious! I was inspired by you to go out yesterday with my Fujinon XF 23mm f2 lens mounted on the X-Pro3 and take some pictures. Here are a few of them.

Cherry blossom trees blooming along the Ookagawa River (with sightseeing boat in the distance).

There are several bridges on the Ookagawa River and every one of them has a bunch of photographers on it taking pictures.

Not everyone is as enthusiastic about the cherry blossoms as I am.

About a twenty minute walk from the river one can view the beautiful tulips in Yokohama Park.
