Please share your experiences or links to unique/boutique type used camera stores. I love browsing these places.

I've come across several "boutique" type used-camera shops catering to rare, unique, or better than average condition cameras; with some coming with a CLA.

A couple I have found (and I'm sure you are probably familiar with):

While I wouldn't travel halfway around the planet to shop for Leica cameras, presentation at Kitamura Camera's flagship Shinjuku store looks very impressive:

In 2016, I visited the old Kitamura store at the Diakanyama T-Site in Shibuya and it was already an excellent boutique store. The new flagship looks like it took it to a whole other level - well, six levels to be exact:

Never been myself, but in Hong Kong, there's David Chan's legendary store:

Besides Kitamura, Treehouse Shop in Honolulu is one of the best photo stores I've visited:

Blue Moon Camera in Portland, OR

Tamarkin Camera in Chicago

Central Camera in Chicago

I've personally visited these three and they all curate a wonderful atmosphere with no pretentiousness.

There is in Seattle ‘Shot on Film’ store. Been there once, lots of selection but you need to be able to check functionality yourself. Don’t know if prices are in line but being able to examine equipment in hand beats the ebay gamble.
