My needless obsession for the past couple days is to replace my relatively hefty Canon IVSB ii with a smaller and lighter Leica iii. I've read that the Leica iiic is 1/8" or "a few millimeters wider" than the iiib but this has been found seemingly unreliably thrown in the middle of other descriptions. I've also read the iiib is about 428g which is substantially lighter than my Canon at 516g.
For the sake of my own comprehension, I'd like to find actual dimensions of the iiia, iiib, iic, iid, iiif, iiig just to actually see it written down someplace for comparison. Are there any sites I'm missing where I could find this recorded or could anyone share the dimensions of their cameras?

I have a iiic stepper with serial number 397879, weight is 406 grams without lens. Height of camera from base to top of camera as centered on viewfinder window is 68.7mm. Height as measured from base to center of winding knob is 67.7mm. Thickness as measured from camera back to center of lens flange in front is 32.7mm. Thickness of camera as measured from either end below strap lugs is 30.5mm. I forgot the length Shac, thanks for the reminder! Length of camera is 114mm. Note: I measured the length as the distance from beneath one strap lug across the front of the camera to the other strap lug. Its a start, but I would kinda expect the interwebs to have this kinda info for the barnack variations posted somewhere.
Edit: length of camera is 135mm, not 114mm as i said previosly.

Why not a II D? Mine weights in at 403g. Who uses the speeds below 1/20 anyway?

As would I! I've been unsuccessful in finding a comprehensive list though.
Thank you for the measurements! Does thickness below strap lugs mean the width of the camera and should that be 130.5mm?
I think of dimensions as height (top to bottom), depth (front to back), width (left to right).

Because they're impossibly rare so I wouldn't expect to ever find or afford one. But, yes, we should include the iiid in a comprehensive list.
Edit: Oh, you said ii D. I misread that. Sure, we could do the Lieca ii models as well

Hi If you are referring to the dimensions I sent - then first no 13.5cm is 135mm
Also to translate to your approach to dimensions labels - my length = your width; your depth = my width. our height labels agree and as I said the latter is from base to top of rangefinder housing

You're in luck: I measured and weighed a bunch of cameras years back out of curiosity and still have the file. I just added a couple of extra cameras to it for comparison.
Unfortunately I don't own a Leica II or a "pre-c" III, but the Zorki 1 should make for a decent comparison. I haven't weighed it, though - it's in storage and I'd have to dig it out. I can do if you're curious, but it'll have to wait a day or two.
Some of the height measurements are doubled; cameras like the Zorki 4 have a relatively short body, but the knobs sticking out the top and bottom give it a lot of extra height, so I've given both measurements in those cases.

This is great! Thank you!
I can add the following to your chart if you'd like;
Canon IVSB ii: Height 76.5 Width 141 (baseplate) Depth 31 Weight 571g
Canon P: Height 76.5 Width 136 (baseplate) Depth 30 Weight 516g

Leica I
Height 66mm (top of viewfinder )
Length 133mm
Depth 30.8 (not including lens mount) 41 (including lens in collapsed postion) 62 with lens extended (infinity)
Weight 446g (including lens which is fixed)
The Leica I and II aren't that expensive. I got my Leica I and Leica II (with period Elmar f/3.5) for about $1200 each from a reputable seller who included his CLA and lens CLA's by Youxin Ye.
I've shot lots of pictures with each and love them.
